Motor Club Of America – Is MCA A Scam or Not?

MCA REVIEW - Logo

Hey guys welcome back to another review!

Lately, I’ve been busy with my other business and haven’t had time to blog and alert yall of any new opportunities out there.

But today we are going to be talking about Motor Club Of Amercia, also known as MCA.  You’ve probably been approached by someone that who was an associate for MCA.

I know I have.. Even one of the main people I learn from on YouTube Keder Cormier said he’s in MCA. I joined under him and went through his program and while his training was great! I didn’t know what MCA was truly for…

Until that I found out it is just a program that provides road side assistance but they have a refferal program that people can make money from.

I joined and then eventually decided to opted out because it didn’t teach you really how to make money online but how to leverage Facebook to make you money online.

But without further or do, let’s get into it!

Motor Club of America (MCA) was founded back in 1926 by William W. Green, who was CEO of the company until 1986. Then sold a couple of times before the current parent company today, TVC Marketing took control.

The owner and founder of TVC in 1987 was Virgil Coffee. TVC stands for Truckers Voice in Court and as the name suggests TVC provided court representation for truckers involved in motor related incidents. TVC still sell these products for professional drivers alongside the MCA packages.

Mr. Coffee was an employee at Pre-Paid Legal Services where reportedly he introduced a multi-level marketing scheme that sold many plans and greatly increased the profitability of the company. He is continuing the same marketing policies with MCA.

MCA Review – What is MCA?

Motor Club of America gives its members the benefits of a traditional motor club like the AAA. All added up to over $150,000 worth of benefits.

They have five plans for ordinary private drivers plus two plans for commercial drivers, the plans cover things like:

  • Roadside assistance – towing up to 100 miles, lockout service, fuel delivery, tire changes and much more.
  • Travel assistance – $500 worth of reimbursement and accomodations
  • Arrest bonds – MCA membership card can be used instead of cash bail (Don’t know if this is true.)
  • Attorney fees – different levels depending on defense.
  • Credit card protection.
  • Emergency cost reimbursed.
  • Hospital benefit – up to $150 a day.

All these are good benefits and can be very useful to customers.

Included with all this is their affiliate program is which kind of resembles a multi – level marketing system. I know there’s quite a few people who make a ton of money from MCA. For example, a person I look up to that makes a great deal of money from MCA is Keder Cormier.

He shows his checks on YouTube so I know he’s legit. In the video below will explain what MCA offers.

MCA Review – Who is this for?

MCA’s training is really simple explanatory. You’ll be using Facebook to make sales basically. This is for people have some internet marketing experience. If not, you will need a leader to get you up and rolling so he can share with you marketing knowledge.

To achieve success in this business you have to be consisstent with your presence on Facebook since that’s where you will make most of your sales.

Not everyone is cut out to be successful with multi-level marketing. You must enjoy meeting people and then trying to sell them your product. You must be prepared to be rejected very often and if you try selling to friends or family, you risk irritating them at the very least.

MCA Review – How The MCA Commission Structure Works And How Affiliate Marketing Works

You can sign up as an associate or affiliate with MCA for free, as long as you do it via the TVC Matrix site.

MCA PRODUCT

However, the TVC site does not have a disclosure document as required by the FTC, this could be seen as a red flag.

Motor Club of America has no official site, although there are many affiliate sites that have the allure of an official site. This can cause some confusion.
Some of the sites are:

  • http://www.mcamotorclubofamericamca.com/

Some of these sites mislead people by saying they have to buy a membership package to become an associate. I would have expected MCA to stop this practice, that they clearly must know about.

Considering these associates or affiliates are probably selling many membership packages they are allowed to continue selling and signing up affiliates this way. Obviously, they don’t care at all about anyone who wants to start their own business, they are only interested in making the most commission possible.

Income is earned by signing up others to a MCA membership. The company pays commissions weekly in advance,  the commissions are calculated for a 17 month period. So, should your member leave before the end of the period, there will be a chargeback. This money will be taken from your future sales, chargebacks will not exceed 50% of your paycheck.

After you have managed to convince someone to sign up it is the company’s job to keep them, if they cancel their membership it’s not your fault. Perhaps it’s because the membership doesn’t provide good value or there could be cheaper options elsewhere. In any case, it’s a shame not to receive the full benefits for all your hard work

ros & Cons

Pros

  • free to join – if you join from TVC website
  • you’re selling some useful services
  • you are paid weekly

Cons

  • no official MCA website
  • lots of hype surrounding the company on the internet
  • costs for promotional materials
  • only available in USA and Canada
  • chargebacks can undo your hard work
  • MLM
  • MCA associates charge you to become an affiliate
  • no real marketing training

MCA doesn’t provide any training. This is up to the person who recruited you. TVC does outline some training ideas you could use if you start recruiting members, but this will be up to you to implement or not.

They do have what they call a training manual but it provides very little value.

MCA doesn’t offer much in the way of support. You can contact them via:

  • a 24/7 toll-free phone number that operates 365 days per year
  • email
  • fax
  • snail mail
  • or the contact form on their site

For any other support, you will have to contact your team leader.

What are members or ex-members saying about MCA?

You will not find many negative reviews for Motor Club of America because members have to accept an agreement that has the following clause:

MCA agreement

Nonetheless, if you go to the Ripoff Report site you will find some complaints and the replies from MCA affiliates, naturally saying what a great scheme it is. On the other hand, there are plenty of positive comments or reviews, but as to be expected these are in the great majority from MCA affiliates. Therefore finding an objective review or comments is quite difficult.

How much does it cost?

You can join this scheme for free, as long as you join through the TVCmatrix site which is the official MCA site.

If you join through the other affiliate sites, you will have to pay for a membership plan before qualifying for the compensation program.

Motor Club of America doesn’t provide much in the way of promotional materials. You do get a website if you have a membership or you have signed up to become an associate. Your website address will be www.tvcmatrix.com/your username.

Apart from that, you will have to pay for any other promotional materials you use. Often these are supplied for free by the company you are promoting. These fees can add up rapidly. If you are serious about promoting MCA you will have to pay for adverts, business cards, flyers, brochures, etc.

Consequently, the initial cost may be $0, but with the promotional items your costs will soon add up.

My final opinion

I don’t think MCA is a scam, they seem to pay their associates on time and they do provide a product that could be useful. However, I wouldn’t recommend this scheme as a way of making money online. You will have to work very hard to make sales and MCA don’t provide you with any internet marketing training.

If you find a good sponsor that will help you a lot. Otherwise don’t just dive in.

If you’re a confident, outgoing person, who is comfortable talking to people and promoting MCA to them, perhaps you could make this work. You will also have to lead and motivate your team to take action and follow your training.

Chris What Would You Recommend?

While dropshipping is good I recommend something that is more high ticket and pays monthly instead of one time. Don’t get me wrong while dropshipping can make you money, the problem is that you have to continue making sales constantly to keep your income. I rather have something recurring paying me every month.

In my main business I do Facebook Ads marketing for local businesses which pay me $1,500-$5,000 a month.

All I do is do their marketing for them, get them results and then they pay me for my service. All you have to do is learn Facebook Ads and become an SUPER EXPERT (Like me hahaha(: ) But once you learn FB Ads you can sell your services to local businesses who don’t know what their doing for high ticket prices.

And I got started without any credentials, without any trials, without any proposals. You can do this too. In fact, I’ll tell share with you the secret course I learned from…

Inside this course you will learn marketing and learn how to get high paying clients to pay you $1,500-$5000 a month. In fact, they’ll even teach you how to outsource FB Ads to someone else if you don’t know Ads yet. You can get started for just $1…

Within 2 weeks you can have your first client ready to empty their wallet for you.

This is my #1 business opportunity recommendation since you are getting paid high ticket prices which are monthly as well. Imagine having 6 clients and you outsourcing it to someone else if you can’t manage all of them… That’s easily over $10,000 a month. which is $120,000 a year.

It’s only $1 to get started.
