Obviously from my last post from after using the Dropship Legacy course to increase my knowledge, I have made sales. (PROOF TO THE RIGHT.)
Now Dropship Legacy will allow you to make money online using shopify as the platform. Literally people have became financially free from dropshipping.
Most business owners use this platform to start a dropshipping store. If you don’t know what that is keep reading below.

What Exactly Is Shopify?
Shopify is basically a hosted ecommerce platform that provides everything you need from beginning to end, specifically the software. But it does not provide the products that you will or want to sell and the “know how” of knowing how to build and grow your online business.
It does gives some tips and tutorials which you can find by going to their blog. You can also find courses on their blog as well but they don’t really go into detail on the matter, just tips given here and there.
While Shopify does provide the software and platform, it’s up to you to learn how to advertise and grow your business. (Can’t expect EVERYTHING to be done for you haha😂) But this part alone distinguishes real entrepreneurs from wantrepeneurs.
Shopify competes with mainly with Bigcommerce and Volusion – all three of which provide turn-key ecommerce solutions, which in turn competes with non-turnkey solutions (like setting up your own store and website).
Shopify also competes with Amazon and Etsy but also integrates with them as well.😉 So that means you can use shopify to sell on there!
Shopify also has a “Buy button” functionality that allows you to use Shopify as Point of Sale (POS) / Inventory option – and let customers click to buy your products anywhere online (Pinterest, Facebook, WordPress blog, Tumblr, etc).
Like I said earlier, Shopify provides a lot of things, but it DOES not teach you how to market your business and we know that how that turns out. As I like to say, “No eyes👀 on your product, no sales” So in order to take full advantage of Shopify you HAVE to know how to market your store and other things to have a successful store.
There are many courses out there that you can learn how to market and grow your business out there, but the one I recommend the most is Dropship Legacy. If you want to check out my review of Dropship Legacy then click here – Dropship Legacy Review
This is personally where I’ve learned from after trial and error from other courses. I have no doubt this will help you.
Here I explain Shopify In Person! So if you don’t want to read the entire thing, you can just watch this video!
How Does Shopify Work?
Shopify is very simple in how it works haha.
- Pick your Shopify plan that fits your budget
- Get your domain name. (You can get one from Shopify or Go Daddy)
- Choose a design or theme for your store (which you can drag and drop) That’s how simple it is. Can also hire a web designer if you want.
- Add products, page content, and payment options etc
- Go get your customers! I got my marketing strategy from Here
Shopify basically promotes dropshipping. Which is basically described in the steps above. And you can get products dirt cheap. I’m talking getting items for $1-$2 that people will easily buy for $19.99 and up.
I’m so serious.
Obviously, some things you may have in mind will be higher priced, but you can legit sell those for a higher profit margin as well!
Think of Walmart and Amazon. They’re basically doing the same thing.
Dropshipping is the easiest way to wealth right now. So I suggest you hop on the trend.
Pretty simple right? Well let’s see what Shopify has to offer.
Pros of using Shopify
- Great Hosting and Website Speed
- Provides all features neccessary for an online store
- Great Customer Support! (Literally they respond within seconds)
- Built in Marketing and SEO titles (Snapshot of my store to the right)
- Shopify App Store (so many apps that can integrate and will instantly improve your stores look)
- Great Analytics and Reporting
Cons of using Shopify
- Pricing (its affordable but may not be affordable for others
- Content Marketing Functionality (Its pretty weak, Focused solely on ecommerce.
- Shopify Setup (Can be a little confusing for some.
Key differences between Shopify plans
Key features to watch out (and not miss by selecting the wrong plan!) are:
- reporting – professional reporting functionality is only available on the $79 ‘Shopify’ plans and up
- abandoned cart recovery – this allows you to automatically email users who nearly completed an order and see if you can persuade them to follow through, and is only available on the $79 ‘Shopify’ plan and up. (Can install apps to email customers that abandoned cart)
- real time carrier shipping, which is only available on the most expensive ‘Advanced Shopify’ plan
- staff accounts – these allow you to give different members of your team different permissions (which is useful for restricting access to sensitive data); you are allowed 2 staff accounts on the ‘Basic Shopify’ plan; 5 on the ‘Shopify’ plan and 15 on the ‘Advanced Shopify’ plan
One of the major things I like about Shopify is how affordable it is for just the basic plan. There used to be plan called Lite for only $9 but they cancelled it awhile back.
Anyways, $29 a month is okay because there is a 14 day trial! If you are a hard worker and love to learn and are truly interested in succeeding using Shopify then you may be able to make money those 14 days.
This plan is obviously the most affordable. You can also cancel before those 14 days are up.
The second plan is $79 a month with grants you more features within Shopify. I personally don’t use this feature but many people upgrade to this after they are making a consistent income. I don’t know why but they do. They can get most of the features from this plan by downloading apps from the Shopify store.
Finally, theres the big boy. The $299 Shopify Plan. I know people who upgrade to this, but this is very rare. Maybe they’re SUPER Shopify fans, but I don’t know lol. People actually do upgrade to this plan though, so if you want go on ahead people!
Who Is Shopify For?
Who is Shopify for? Shopify is for anyone willing to learn and sell online with their own ecommerce store.
You have to have a debit or credit card at least but I’ve seen kids who have started by having their parents sign up for them and they take over. Literally.
They’re kids in Ecommerce Facebook groups that range from 13 and up. Anyone can learn this. It just depends on how committed the individual is. Some people see sales in days while others see sales in months. So stay committed if you are truly thinking about joining Shopify.
In fact if you learn from the course I learned from, you can join the Facebook group where there are thousands of other ecommerce entrepreneurs on the same journey as you having discussions and helping others out.
Like I said before, anyone can do this if they are committed. YOU, yes you reading right now, you can do this!
Honestly, my final opinion on Shopify is….
Shopify is great. It’s a great way for anyone to make money online and is one of the easiest ways. The reason why its so great is that they provided EVERYTHING for you, such as the platform, themes, emails, SEO, and a lot more.
They provided the software and platform, but you have to do the other things such as getting traffic, growing your brand/store, processing and taking care of orders.
Shopify is really known for dropshipping to me. If you don’t know what dropshipping is, its basically being the middle man.
You find a product, you list the product on your store, someone buys the product from you, you buy the product from the manufacture (for dirt cheap), they send it to the customer, you keep the profit margin.
That’s basically what you do with Shopify!
Anyone can make money from it.
Chris, What Would You Reccomend?
I definitely recommend Shopify for anyone.
I recommend this because Shopify is the easiest way to make money online today in my view. You don’t have to recruit anyone, or convince anyone to join.
You simply find a great product and sell it, simple.
So if you want to start your 14 day trial now you can below. If you want to learn how to dropship using Shopify (which is basically what Shopify is used for) you can click the other link below to sign up to the course.
